Urban Home Bathroom Renovation
We successfully transformed a once-dark powder room into a bright and spacious full bathroom during this comprehensive renovation. Collaborating closely with the client and their contractor, our design focused on creating a minimalist, bright, and open atmosphere. The timeless contrast between white and black was chosen for a classic look that will endure over time.
Not only do the black-framed sliding glass shower doors provide functionality, but they also introduce texture and depth with their horizontal mullions. To infuse warmth and coziness into the space, we incorporated wood elements in the vanity and introduced natural tones through carefully selected accessories.
The bathroom's layout underwent changes due to the addition of a new dining room on the opposite side, resulting in the relocation of the previous window. The contractor skillfully added a new window over the toilet, introducing more natural light into the space and contributing to a brighter and airier ambiance than before. To ensure privacy in this urban location, blackout window treatments were implemented, allowing for a perfect balance of openness and seclusion.
